90 Day Fiancé: Elizabeth’s Sisters Are Being Selfish About Moldovan Wedding

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans watched Elizabeth Potthast’s sisters act selfishly about her Moldovan wedding. Elizabeth has been placed in an uncomfortable position because of her husband, Andrei’s wedding plans, and her family’s disproval.

Andrei and Elizabeth have joined the cast of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5 and are already off to a rocky start.  Elizabeth is continuously voicing that family is everything to her, while Andrei is frustrated with their interference. Andrei has been outspoken since day one about his in-laws. Even though they have helped support his family while he searches for a job, he’s uncomfortable with Elizabeth’s family’s dynamic. Andrei caused more friction when he decided that Elizabeth’s father, Chuck’s birthday party was the ideal time to announce his impromptu Moldovan nuptials. His plans were unknown to even Elizabeth.

On Sunday’s all-new episode, Elizabeth decided to go shopping with her sisters and mother for her dream wedding dress. She had some ideas of what she needed but also was aware that she had to stick to some guidelines to respect the Moldovan culture. The reality star’s mother was agitated that her daughter felt she could not be herself, but fans understood the compromise that Elizabeth was making. Check out her dress post below from her Instagram:

Elizabeth’s sister could not hide her disdain for the outing. She sat with a grumpy face while Elizabeth twirled around in the dresses. Fans felt that her family was acting selfishly by bringing down the mood and making it about themselves. While speaking to the cameras, Libby made a very accurate point about her situation. She told producers that she understood she was giving up some things but by marrying a foreigner and that compromise was bound to happen. Anyone who has not been in the same situation would find it hard to relate to, but Elizabeth understood the sacrifices being made. Many TLC fans still believe that she is giving up a lot more than Andrei. The father still comes across as rude and unwelcoming to his new family which causes an immense amount of tension. In the end, the TLC personality chose a beautiful lace dress that had long sleeves. She needed a fur shawl to cover her chest, but it only added to the dress’s beauty. Her grumpy sister also saw the light eventually, smiling and telling her sister she looked beautiful.

Currently, fans are annoyed with Andrei due to his entitlement combined with the fact that he does nothing to contribute to the household income. Every scene he has been whining about what his father-in-law, who he believes should be paying for everything. When Andrei first stepped onto the TLC scene, he made it clear he was a hard worker who wanted to make something of himself in America. But right now, he just looks like a chump who wants to live off somebody’s else hard work. Hopefully, fans will see a change in his demeanor after his traditional Moldovan wedding.
